Claiming Territories
If Unclaimed...
Make a 3 paragraph (4 sentences per paragraph minimal) minimum post in an unclaimed territory to claim it, and it's yours. From there, set it up how you like, and create rules (as long as they don't conflict with the site's rules) based on how you want your territory to be governed. Just remember to keep it active.
If Claimed...
Post a "Challenge" thread in the territory you wish to try and take over. The Territory's leader can choose to send out a maximum of 1 Pack/Pod member to face you, which you must defeat first before you actually have to face them. However, they must fight and defeat you fair and square to keep their land, providing you defeat their "challenge". (And if your thread goes unresponded for more than 2 weeks, the last poster automatically wins).
"Vacation Time"
If you are the Leader of your Pack or Pod, and you have successfully thwarted a challenger, you can opt to get a grace period of 1 month. During this time, you cannot be challenged under any circumstance, and you can go back to focusing solely on taking care of, and leading, your Pack or Pod.
Activity...
To be a leader, you must be able to run an active community. If you aren't getting any roleplays for longer than 2 months, you will have your Territory forcibly stripped from you. If no one claims it in the following 2 months, you can attempt to claim it back. However, remember you had your shot - if you want to keep your land, defeat any challenger and keep it active.
